Lisa Bedenbaugh PT, CCRP

Lisa Bedenbaugh is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, as well as a Physical Therapist who has practiced for 15 years in the human realm working in a variety of health care settings.
Lisa is the Georgia state liason for the animal physical therapy special interest group of the American Physical Therapy Association, and has an extensive horse related background.
Lisa graduated Daemen College with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1988, and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee in 2003.
Before joining Caring Canine, Lisa had several home health, orthopedic, and neurological Rehabilitation jobs all over the country.
Lisa keeps up to date with the latest in Rehabilitation, believing that continuing education is important to giving the best care to her patients. In 2002 she attended the International Veterinary Rehabilitation Symposium; that year she also attended the Canine Sports Medicine Conference at Auburn. She attended the Canine Sports Medicine Conference again in 2003. She will be attending the International Symposium on Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy in Veterinary Medicine in August, 2004.
Lisa shares her household with her husband, Scott, and with Ikaika - 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix, Kapu - 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix, and Kula - 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog. Lisa is planning to start agility training with her youngest dog -- Kula.
When not working at Caring Canine or as a Physical Therapist in the human realm, Lisa enjoys traveling, riding roller coasters, and white water rafting.
