During the initial evaluation, and continuing throughout the rehabilitation process, owners are educated about the "do's" and "don'ts" with regard to the care of their pet so that its rehabilitation will progress appropriately, while reducing the chances of re-injury.  A progressive home exercise program to be routinely performed between Caring Canine visits is a part of this care.

Home exercise programs are based on the limitations and goals of each individual patient.  Exercises are demonstrated as well as documented for the owner to take home with them. 

Home programs are adjusted as rehabilitation progresses.
